The following are the factual elements of the Bible that may support the claim:
- Written over the course of approximately 1500 years, by at least 35 different authors in at least 3 different languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek) from a number of different locations in the world.
- Complete unity and harmony; the Bible has not been proven to contradict itself and contains hundreds of parallel passages that corroborate and agree with each other. Given #1 above, how could this be possible?
- Widest circulation. The Bible has been translated into over 1,000 languages and is found almost anywhere you find people, despite numerous concerted efforts by many in history to prevent its distribution and translation.
- Message and influence. Not only does the bible deal with the most controversial topic of “religion”, it claims to be divine (as we stated previously) and has been unequivocally the most influential book in history, changing countless lives.
